Privacy Policy
This policy describes how data is processed in the Eruday mobile application and service (“Eruday”, “we”). We aim to collect only the data needed to operate the game, protect the service, and provide features selected by the user.
1. Data we process
- Account: email, display name, protected password hash, server user identifier, and installation identifier.
- Age access: calculated adult-eligibility date, source of the age signal, consent to adult content, and any applicable restriction. The birth date entered at registration is used for the calculation and is not retained in the profile.
- Gameplay: assigned questions, answers, results, rating, streaks, achievements, statistics, reports, and review activity.
- Preferences: language, time zone, notification choices, product analytics consent, and privacy settings.
- Technical data: app and operating-system version, platform type, routes without question or answer content, error codes, and limited diagnostic events.
- Purchases and advertising: only when available — verified entitlement status, store or rewarded-ad event identifiers, and information needed to prevent duplicate rewards. Eruday does not receive full payment-card details.
- Push notifications: delivery token, installation identifier, and notification preferences.
2. How we use data
We use data to register and authenticate users, deliver the daily edition, save progress, ratings and achievements, synchronize devices, enforce age eligibility, send notifications, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.
PostHog product analytics is enabled only after separate voluntary consent. It can be disabled in Settings; after consent is withdrawn, new product events are no longer sent and the local analytics identity is reset.
3. Service providers
Eruday may use:
- Selectel for the protected public API endpoint;
- Cloud.ru for encrypted independent backups;
- Grafana Cloud/OpenTelemetry for de-identified operational metrics and traces;
- Sentry for minimized error diagnostics without email, question text, answer text, or request bodies;
- PostHog EU for consent-based product analytics using a server UUID and a limited event set;
- Firebase Cloud Messaging and Remote Config for notifications and non-authoritative interface parameters;
- Apple App Store and Google Play, RevenueCat, and Google AdMob only when the relevant purchases or advertising features are available.
User answer content is not sent to question-generation services. We do not sell personal data.
4. International processing
The controller is located in Armenia, while some providers may process data in other countries. We limit data to each provider’s purpose, encrypt data in transit, and apply contractual or technical safeguards. During the early regional launch, the primary database runs on private infrastructure with a public access point in Russia.
5. Retention
- account and gameplay data — while the account exists or while needed to provide the service;
- operational logs and diagnostics — normally up to 30 days;
- optional product analytics — up to 12 months, or earlier account deletion/consent withdrawal where supported by the provider;
- encrypted backups — up to 14 days;
- closed leaderboard records after account deletion — anonymized results only, without a link to the user.
6. Your choices and rights
In the app, you can edit your profile and notification settings, grant or withdraw product analytics consent, disable adult content, and delete your account. Contact privacy@eruday.app to request access, correction, or deletion, or to ask a privacy question.

7. Security and children
We use TLS, password hashing, access controls, isolated data storage, and encrypted backups. No storage method can guarantee absolute security.
Eruday uses neutral age collection and server-side filtering. Adult content is never enabled solely because a user reaches the eligibility date; separate confirmation is required, and stricter store restrictions or other blocks prevail.
8. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update its effective date and, when required, notify users in the app or request renewed consent.
